Parkersburg Trip Info for Parents! :-)

If you are planning to stay in the same hotel with us, you can call the Comfort Suites in Mineral Wells at 304-489-9600.  If  you want, you can ask for Brooke and tell her you are traveling with the HMS wrestling team and will be needing a room, but will be paying separately but was wondering if you could have the group rate of $79.00 per night that the team is getting.  I think it's a HUGE savings of about $14.00 per night, and I don't know that she'll give it to parents, but it's worth a try!

DIRECTIONS TO PLACES:

Directions to Hotel as stated on mapquest: 

Take 64E to I-77 North toward I-79/Parkersburg.  Take Exit 170 toward Mineral Wells, exit Right onto Elizabeth Pikeway; hotel is on the left.

Directions to from hotel to Blennerhassett Middle School as stated on mapquest.  Note:  We may get different directions from the hotel staff, but here's what I have so far.

1.  Start out going North on WV-14 S/Pike Street toward WV-14N/CR-13   0.0 miles
2.  Turn Right onto WV-14/Pike Street  0.2 miles
3.  Merge onto I-77 N/WV-2 N via the ramp on the Left towards Parkersburg    3.9 miles
4.  Take the WV-47 exit, Exit 174 toward Staunton Avenue   0.2 miles
5.  Turn Right onto WV-47 N/Staunton Ave   2.2 miles
6.  Merge onto US-50 W via the ramp on the Left 4.5 miles
7.  Take the WV-68 S ramp towards Ravenswood   0.3 miles
8.  Turn Right onto WV-892/Dupont Rd  0.6 miles
9.  Turn Right onto Jewell Road  0.1 miles
10.  End at 144 Jewell Road Parkersburg
